Luna had never heard of such a thing, not even in passing. Sure, gold was a day colour, but Shadows were, well, shadows.

Shadows were always black. So was this something Luna had never been taught? Why? Didn't the Moonfolk kniow about it?

Or, thought Luna, was this not even a Shadow? Could it be something a young Guardian such as herself wasn't likely to encounter?
