**Sorry it took so long, guys. But, I'm snowed in so today I had plenty of time to sleep in and write. Enjoy! This is in the POV of Eren**

With yesterdays eventful run-in with Mikasa and Armin, I was incredibly happy to learn that they were moving in just down the hall. Levi leaves tomorrow, which makes my heart hurt. Eren, you fool! Stop thinking like that! Currently, it was 5:15 a.m., which was 2 hours before I normally woke up. I was just laying in my bed, scrolling through Twitter. Clicking off my phone, I turned over in my bed. I wasn't sure what I expected, but what was there caught me way off guard.

A peacefully sleeping Levi was next to me. I noticed the door to my room cracked just enough to where I could see a messed up blanket on the couch. I felt my face begin to flush, and put a hand over my mouth to stop myself from making some stupid noise. After a few minutes, I removed the hand from my mouth and started to roll over. A cold hand placed itself on my arm, keeping me from going anywhere.

"I'm....cold...." Levi groggily muttered, still with closed eyes.

"O-Okay, Levi..." I whispered, my face blushing harshly as he pulled himself into my embrace. Not sure where to place my arms, I threw one over him and placed the other under myself.

Being in this situation made me smile. My heart soared, and my mind couldn't figure out why. What was this? I closed my eyes, resting my chin on Levi's head and falling back asleep.

"Eren, just trust me on this." Levi smirked, taking my wrist and leading me through an up-hill trail in the woods. I brought my arm to my forehead, shielding my face from any branches that surprisingly came up. "Levi, are you sure? We've been on this trail for a while now." I complained, lowering my arm. We ran some more, Levi ignoring my pleas to stop and rest. Once we reached a peak, I put my hands on my knees and gasped for air. "Eren, quit being a lightweight and look up." I felt a fist nudge my shoulder. "Fine! What's so important about-" I stopped once my eyes had set on the sight before me. Below the mountain ledge we were on, was a luscious meadow. I stood up straight, my mouth hanging open in reaction to the sheer beauty. "I love you, brat." I felt Levi intertwining his fingers in mine.

"Eren! Wake up!" I heard Levi yelling at me. He was standing at my door, fully dressed for the day.

"Wuh..what time is it?" I asked, rubbing my eyes and sitting up in bed.

"It's 7:45, you dink." Levi turned and left the door, sitting on the couch.

"7:45?! Dammit!" I cursed myself...I was going to be late for work.

Rushing around my room, I threw on some random outfit and hastily tied on the Starbucks apron. Stuffing cookies in my mouth, I tossed half of one to Otto and grabbed my phone from my room. Checking for any missed alerts, I shoved the phone in my pocket and ran to the door.

"Have fun, Eren." Levi called. I waved, cookies still making my cheeks puffy.

I ran down the stairs, hoping they would be quicker. Getting to the lobby, I noticed moving men carrying several boxes. Today must be Armin and Mikasa's move in day. Running out the front doors, I slumped myself down on a bench to wait for the bus. Once it finally arrived, I noticed I was the only one on. Happily taking one of the seats at the very front, I took out my phone, to which I had a text from Levi.

"Levi: Otto and I hate being alone...-sad emoji-" attached was a picture of Levi face-to-face with my German Shepherd. I grinned at the sight, saving the picture. Going into my photo album and finding it, I saved it as my home/lock screen backgrounds. Feeling the bus come to a screeching halt, I slipped my phone back into my pocket and walked off, thanking the driver. Opening the door to Starbucks, I noticed an almost empty shoppe.

"Eren! So good to see you again!" Lizabeth chimed, walking over and giving me a hug.

"Hey, Lizabeth. Sorry about yesterday, did you get my text?" I asked, picking up my name badge and fastening it.

"I sure did! And uh..." Lizabeth tapped her cheek with her index finger.

"What? Tell me, Lizabeth!" I stared at her, to which giggling began in the background.

I look behind Lizabeth to find Anna laughing profusely behind the counter. I marched over to her, beginning to get annoyed.

"What the hell's so funny, Anna?" I asked, as she looked up at me with teary blue eyes.

"So uh...Lizabeth showed me the text..." Anna ran to Lizabeth, whose face had turned a light pink.

"I-I'm sorry! She was with me when I checked it!" Lizabeth ran to the back room, Anna following.

Damn, today's going to go by insanely slow... I thought to myself, making my way behind a register.

*Time Skip*

Checking the clock, it was now 4:30. I popped my knuckles, resting my hands on the counter.

"Eren, hey!" I heard someone call. It was Armin.

"What's up, Armin?" I smiled at him, noticing Mikasa walk through the door not long after.

"We're here to unwind after a long day of unpacking." Mikasa rubbed her neck, walking over next to him.

"Yeah, we're pretty beat." Armin chuckled, his blond hair laying against his face.

"So, what'll it be?" I asked them both, smiling.

"Two grande mocha frappuccino's, please." Mikasa handed me the cash, and I wrote their names on the cups.

Sliding the cups down to Anna, I noticed her trying to strike up a conversation with Mikasa and Armin. After their drinks were done and they sat at a table by the door, I took another look at the clock. 4:45, it was time for me to clock out. Chuckling with happiness, I signed the sheet and exited from behind the counters. Walking over to the door, Mikasa stopped me.

"Hey, Eren. We're having a small get-together party tonight to celebrate moving in. You can bring whoever you like~." Her voice toyed with that last word, winking at me.

"Yeah, like Levi!" Armin blurted out, to which he got a punch in the arm from my sister.

Shaking my head at the pair, I walked out and waited at the bus stop. As the bus approached, I noticed it was way more crowded than this morning. Sighing in annoyance, I made my way onto the people filled death trap. Glancing around, I noticed no open seats and barely any standing room. Taking what little space there was, I put my shirt over my nose so that I wouldn't be overwhelmed by the stench of public transport.

"Eren!" Hearing my named caused me to turn around frantically, hitting a few people with my arm.

"Eren, back here!" They called again. This time, I squeezed my way through the sea of bodies.

"Jean, was that you?" I stared at him, who had a seat all to himself.

"How'd you manage that?!" I asked, jealously laced on my tongue.

"Come on, you doof. I called you back here to sit. Now sit or I'll offer it to someone else." Jean brought up his bag, giving me somewhere to sit.

Since we were neighbors, we started with basic introductions and stuff about ourselves. I didn't want to say it, but his facial features sort of resembled a horse... Anywho, after what seemed like eons of talking, a question popped into my head.

"Hey, Jean. My sister and best friend are having a house warming party in honour of them moving in down the hall from us. Wanna come?" I asked, hoping I wasn't being too weird.

"Yeah, sure! I'd love to come. What time?" He asked, flashing a broad smile.

"Uhm, not sure yet. I'll knock on your door when it's time?" I chuckled, looking out the window and seeing our stop.

"Sounds like a plan. Hey, it's time for us to get off." Jean motioned for me to leave the seat.

We walked inside the complex together, taking the elevator. We waved goodbye to each other as I dug the keys for my door out of my pocket. Walking inside, I noticed Otto curled up in his bed. The TV was playing, showing a re-run episode of Pokémon. The volume was low, and I couldn't see Levi anywhere. Going to walk in my room, I caught a glimpse at the couch. Levi was passed out cold, snuggling against a pillow.

"Oh, Levi." I whispered, a smile spreading across my face. I pulled out my phone, making sure the ringer was off.

"I'll keep this to myself." I muttered, snapping a picture of the man sleeping. He was drooling slightly, adding a comical sense to the photo.

Once I got in my room, I took off my Starbucks apron, along with today's outfit. If I was going to a housewarming party, I might as well try to dress like what people wear to social gatherings. Picking out a navy and white striped shirt with 4 buttons down the front from the neck, and black skinny jeans, I walked back into the living room to find Levi sitting up on the couch.

"Welcome to the land of the living, sleeping beauty." I joked, taking a seat next to him.

"Ah, save it." Levi rubbed his eyes, slouching against the couch.

"Hey, Armin and Mikasa invited us to their housewarming party. Neighbor across the hall will be there too." Levi looked at me, his eyes filled with terror.

"Why?! Why would you do that?!" He pleaded, screaming into a throw pillow.

"She's my sister, Levi. And Armin's my best friend. I don't get to see them much." I patted his shoulder, getting up to go to the kitchen.

Levi continued complaining to himself as I stood in the kitchen, eating a small snack. Otto trotted in, flopping his tongue out and begging for some food. Giving him a small bite of my sandwich and rubbing his back, Levi came in as well.

"Fine. Let's go. It's almost 6." Levi grabbed a jacket from the coat hanger.

"Hey, Levi?" I asked, trying to hold back a laugh.

"What, Eren." Turning around, he scratched his head.

"That's my jacket. Plus, we're not even going outside." I broke, laughing quietly at him.

"Yeah? So?" Looking defensive, Levi's face blushed.

Exiting the apartment, I knocked on Jean's door and told him it's time. All 3 of us walked down towards the elevator, where Armin and Mikasa's apartment was. Ringing the doorbell, Armin greeted us with party streamers and those annoying cone things that make a loud sound when you blow through them. We all gathered around their coffee table, Levi being the most anti-social. Although, he did talk whenever somebody spilled a drink or dropped some crumbs. That's when he went ballistic about cleaning.

The first few hours went by like nothing. In fact, it'd only felt like we'd been there for about 30 minutes. After we all(everyone but Levi) recovered from laughing, Jean spoke up with an idea.

"Hey! Why don't we all play a game?" He suggested, stuffing finger foods in his mouth.

"Great idea, Jean. What do we play?" Mikasa suggested, looking around at everyone.

"How about...7 minutes in heaven!" Armin yelled, taking a sip of his soda.

"Perfect." Mikasa laughed, looking back and forth from me and Levi.

I wasn't sure how this game was played. I mean, I could've played it in the past, but didn't remember at the moment. After rules were discussed and penalties for if you left early were put forth, Armin went first.

"As your honorary host for this evening, I hereby choose...Eren and Levi! You're the first ones up!" Armin cackled, as Mikasa covered her mouth to stifle a laugh.

"You're j-joking, Armin." I stuttered, feeling my body begin to sweat and my face burn.

"Oh, I'm far from joking. I'm dead serious." He calmed down, flipping his hair.

"Armin, no!" I cried at him.

"Armin, yes." A devilish grin plastered on his face.

Without saying a word, Levi grabbed my wrist and lead me for their hall closet. It was spacious, such as ours, so we could both fit with ease. We sat on the floor, our shoes touching. The darkness didn't help the overbearing silence as we sat, clueless as to what to do. A minute or 2 in, Levi spoke.

"Eren, I've been hiding things from you." His voice sounded rough, like he was about to cry.

"What do you mean, Levi?" I asked curiously, my eyes finally adjusting to the dark.

"I mean...I-I mean..." He was struggling, his voice getting more and more choked up.

"Levi, it's okay. Here, come here." I reached around for a few seconds before finding his body. Holding his head against my chest, I wrapped both my arms around him.

"I think I love you, Eren." He admitted, his body slowly rocking with silent sobs. Why was he crying? Did he not mean it?

"Levi...are you afraid?" I whispered, using my thumb to wipe his tears.

We sat as Levi sniffled and cried into my shirt. Not letting him go, I reassured him that he wouldn't be alone. For as he said that sentence, I knew something. I knew my feelings had finally been confirmed for him. Placing his head against my chest, I wiped more of his tears away.

"Eren, you don't get it. The rose, the candles, the incense in your room that night you came home. That was me, trying to communicate my feelings without being obvious. You know love at first sight? That's what it was when I met you. I only drank so much at Red Lobster so I could see if you cared enough to keep me over and make sure I was okay. And this morning? I was fully aware of what I was doing. I wasn't cold, I wanted your body against mine. I wanted to feel your warmth. Eren, I love you. I know I do." After Levi's spiel, My green eyes focused as hard as they could on his steel grey ones.

"Levi...I-I..." I stuttered, my words failing me.

"You don't feel the same, do you?" He sounded shattered, which felt like me getting stabbed in the heart.

"I feel the exact way, Levi." I took a hand, bringing his face as close to mine as I could.

Despite the cries from my sister and friends saying time was up, I ignored them. Pulling Levi to me, I felt his lips press against mine, as he returned the favor.
