Luke stared down at Vader, his lightsaber mere inches from his father’s throat.

“Good,” the Emperor gloated. “Your hate has made you powerful. Now, fulfill your destiny and take your father’s place at my side!”

Without a second thought, Luke brought his lightsaber down, severing the head of the Dark Lord of the Sith. Before Palpatine could react, he continued through and, in one fluid motion, hurled the glowing blade at the Emperor’s heart.

Palpatine slumped to the ground, a look of shock and betrayal forever frozen on his face. Luke retrieved his lightsaber, stepped over the remains of the former senator from Naboo, and climbed the stairs to the throne.

His throne.

The throne of the last remaining Sith Lord.

He opened a channel to Moff Jerjerrod. “Commander,” he said. “This is your new Emperor, Luke…” He paused, then smiled, darkly. “Emperor Darth Supremis. Finish off the last of the rebel fleet. Then turn the superlaser on the moon of Endor and destroy it.

“We have a galaxy to run!”
