Share this storySpreading Far

It spreads. Flying from branch to branch, from tree to tree. All it needs is the slightest bit of encouragement. The slightest breeze. The smallest breath of wind will do. Anything to send it on its way.

It infects and contaminates. All around it will suffer and perish. If only they could pack up and move. If only they could save themselves.

But, alas. They are secured to this ground in a different way than you or I. They are one with earth, and therefore must die alongside it. They cannot find another planet. Cannot jump ship and start again. There is no second chance. Not for them.
