Morghana is a young, 14 year old girl, who has recently moved to a new town and school. Her family and school counselors believes that she has a mental illness. She discovers an abandoned church and graveyard near her house complete with spirits that only she can see. Will this dispell her family's belief of her mental state, or will it just make it more concrete?

Some people think that I must be lonely, but no matter how many times I tell them that I’m not, they won’t listen. I never made friends at my old school. The school counselor always made such a big deal out of it. I really don’t know why. I have friends, just not at school. She wouldn’t believe me though and now I have to meet with someone three times a week.
Before we moved, the guy who came to my house was really nice. He didn’t call me crazy. He listened to me. His name was Mr. Richardson.
This woman who came over today didn’t seem as nice. She is convinced I am not sane. She is making me keep this journal for me to “track my inner thoughts.” She promises she isn’t going to read it; it’s just for me. All she is going to do is make sure I am writing and not “undermining authority.” I hope she knows the only reason I’m doing this is because I love writing.
Our new house is pretty big. Mom made me get the room at the far side of the house. I like being further away. I can talk to my friends at night without waking my parents and little brother up. Well, I am going to lay down and get some rest before my friends show up. Night!
