Kamika opened her eyes wearily as she sat up. She rubbed them then looked around the cave. The fire was still slightly burning but something was missing. Thorn.

"Thorn?" she looked around, "Thorn!" she called, louder now.

Kamika got up carefully and slipped on her shoes. She ran a hand through her short hair and rearranged her clothes, just in case Thorn was just outside looking at the Moon like he does sometimes, she didn't want to look like a slob. She wiped the drool off her face from when she'd been sleeping and walked to the outer edge of the cave.

Kamika saw Thorn sitting on a large rock just outside the cave.

"Thorn?" she said quietly walking up behind him.

Thorn and Kamika's lives were nothing particularly special. Thorn, one of the fourteen children his father, the King, had sired by several wives and Kamika the head chef at the Greak Oak.

However, on the day of Thorn's 100th birthday, the normality is shattered. Something evil is threatening the lives of the two young elves. Something that has silenced the forest's song. An ancient evil that hasn't aroused for thousands of years.

Now, aided only by an invisible wood nymph named Emerald, Thorn and Kamika must find a way to combat the terror. Without falling victim to it themselves...
