When the robots overpowered my ability to stand, I had begun to accept my imminent death. I surrendered myself to the robots that seemed to be multiplying. And then, all of a sudden, I felt the cold, metal claws being pulled from my body. I slowly realized, I was being rescued. When I felt the last metal claw be ripped away, I sat up to face my hero.
What I saw shocked me. There was no way an old, seemingly powerless woman could have mustered the strength to fight off a dozen robots. I marveled at the little woman with white hair and wrinkled skin. We stared at each other for what seemed like hours, but really it must have been only 20 seconds. As I tried to think of a way to thank her, she simply held out her little, shriveled hand and said, "Well, what are you waiting for, boy? Let's go!"
