Feeling overwhelmed, I take a dive
To a once overfilled but now empty place to hide.
The day you turned on me is the day I died,
And I've forgotten what it's like,
And how it feels to be alive.
I can't tell which way is up or even if I care
By providence call I glimpse the surface
But the living hammer, hammer me down
for life forgotten is life unlived
Like a corpse unrecognized I wander through empty halls
with weight unmeasured in my heart, with no where to go
with no where to lay my head now you are gone
