So after I was hit by the tree branch that had fallen. I looked up and found that there was a man in the tree. He looked about my age, maybe a little older. He had brown eyes that held a bit of sadness; and they were piercing, as if he could search deep into your soul. His short, brown hair was spiked up a little as if he constantly ran his hand through it. He wore black jeans, a black t-shirt, a black jean jacket, and black sneakers.
"What are you doing in the tree?" I asked, continuing to look at the man in the tree, a huge white tiger walked in front of the tree and started growling at me. I jumped and started to back away from the tree, tripping and falling.
“Misty, down girl.” I hear the man scream. I see him jump out of the tree and start patting the tiger. I watched him in the state of shock. He looked at me and smiled, than back at the tigar.
“Misty, stay.” He said to the tigar than got up and walked to me. "Sorry, Misty can be a bit protective. Are you okay?" He asked, offering me his hand.
"I am fine, thanks. I just got a little startled by you pet." I told him, ignoring his hand. I was upset because he was following me and than a huge tiger trying to take my head off. Anyone would be upset by that though. He chuckled a little bit, than abruptly stopped and started staring at my shoulder where the branch hit.
"Your bleeding." He said, pointing to my shoulder.
"It will be fine. What is your name?" I asked.
"Toro and your still bleeding." Toro said.
"Really? I didnt know that." I tell him, sarcastically and make a healing potion appear and pour it on my shoulder. The wound closes and I make the bottle disappear. "Happy?" I asked.
"Um..yeah." Toro said. "Did I make you angry?" Toro asked.
"Why were you following me?" I asked.
"I was wondering what you were doing in the woods alone. The people in town say this place is haunted. One said something about a war." Toro said.
"And..?" I asked, kind of confused.
"And....why are you walking alone in the middle of the haunted woods?" Toro asked.
"Because I know these woods. Almost too well. I have lived in these very woods for more than 5 years." I tell him. "The war you speak of is the war between my half sister, Victoria and I. Although, I do not wish to continue this war and am doing my best to end it." I tell him.
"And whats you name?" Toro asked me.
"Amora. Now what do you expect to learn by following me?" I ask.
"Than please stop following me. Whose side are you on anyways?"
"Yes, side. My side or my sisters."
I sigh and look at him, uncrossing my arms.
"Okay, than." I say, simply and start walking away.
"Hey, wait." I hear him say and I hear him chase me, so I make myself disappear and reappear behind him.
"Where did she go?" I hear him ask himself. I clear my throat and he turns, looking at me and than back in front of him. "How did you do that?" Toro asks.
"Magic. I asked you to stop following me. If you would like to come with me, I do not mind, but not behind me." I tell him.
"Okay." Toro said, and that is when I notice him staring at me.
"What?" I ask him, raising an eyebrow.
"Your eyes look as though they can light up the sky." Toro tells me.
I feel my face start to blush.
"Umm..Thanks." I say.
Toro chuckled a little than and we continued to walk and talk.
Over the months Toro and I became very close and we shared our first kiss at a pond. He set everything up it seemed. There was a little blanket on the floor. I remember staring at the cloud and asking what he saw and he said. "You."
I smile and look at him only to find him staring at me. My face starts to blush and than he put his hand on my face and kissed me. That was the best day of my life.
The war continued as usual though, but I didn't feel so alone, now. I figured that Toro was like me. He said that he was an enchanter and that he would stick with me and I believed him. If only I knew that he was lying to me about half of the things he said. I should have see it. He never used magic, so he couldn't be an enchanter. The secret shocked me the most, but it also shocked a lot of other people too.
