I rested my hands on the shiny silver Tyotta Prius that Seattle had made, and shifted it into a penny. I knew she wouldn't mind, and she could always make another one- if she wanted. I went to toss the penny away, but thought better of it. Instead, I gave it a squeeze, and shoved it deep into my pocket.
I pulled out of the low driveway, and took a right onto twelve. I knew she wanted to me to stay with her because she felt safe with me, but it still felt a little awkward... I mean... staying the night in her house with her. There wasn't anything wrong with it... just... well, awkward.
I was passing Jefferson St, when I really thought about what I was doing. I looked at the clock on the dashboard. It said 11:23. I pulled into the gas station on the corner and turned around.
