Shadows of Angels

Recommend

I run with all my speed. My wings are dammaged and the rain burns on my cut flesh.

I knew it wasn't the end. I knew that Darius couldn't have been the only one with a cold heart.

I vault the wall and hit the ground and tumble. I jump up and begin running again heading for the street light's the Shadow's can't follow me their. They dispices the light and with my energy draining I can't form a crum let allown use the light.

I reach the light and turn to look at them. They hiss and spit and I glare with hatred at them. Then I hear my name being called.

I wake in a sweat and look around for Zack. Sighing when I remember he's not here. I slip out of bed and put my face in to my hands.

That dreams being haunting me for the past five weeks. Ever since Darius died. Then Zack went missing.

A tear slide down my cheek and I wipe it away. It's been a week since I last saw him, since anyone last saw him.

And I now have this feeling that these Shadows haunting my dreams have took him.

I get to my feet and hear that Pandora's already up. She's living with me now in a new extension on the back and I'm glad to have the company.

I walk into the kitchen where she seems to be making breakfast. With, of corse, angel food cause Pandora would never use what she likes to call 'mortal food'.

And I do agree that angel food does seem to taste a lot better if not strangely coloured and weird named.

"What's for breakfast?" I ask sitting down at the table. Pandora frowns at me trying to hide it and I know it's cause she can tell I've been crying.

"Moolay Yan" she says forcing a smile. I nod and wait until she places a plate of green and orange soup in front of me.

I eat it quickly savoring the taste but ignoring the colour. I mean you'd think that after eating the stuff for six weeks I'd be fine with now.

That's a big, No. Cause I don't think any human turned Angel would get use to the strange coloured things they call food even if they simularily match human ones.

It's Saturday and I promised Tasha I would get out the house and go shopping with her.

I change clothes and the only thing that I keep on is the golden star shaped locket round my neck that Zack gave me that contains a picture of us.

I sigh and slip on my shoes. Pandora of corse used magic and is already waiting.

"I know you haven't got your wings out Aire but it would be quicker to use magic" she says watching.

"That makes my life even more complicated" I mutter before making my way out the door.
