Prologue

I've always known that I was different, that I was destined for something else, something bigger. I just never dreamed it involved so much death and decay, so many blood soaked nights as I had seen. But nothing can stop it now, the wheels of fate have started turning and they will never pause, never look back.

Now my path has shown its self, it is washed in blood and cleansed with the pure white light of the moon. I have no choice. From here on out, I am no longer the girl I once was. I am reborn into the world of the night...

So this is a REALLY old one.... I first started writing the Shadow Girl series when I was in 8th grade and the character has grown with me, by my side at all times. There are many places where her life and mine are the same.... see if you can spot them.... ^-^
