Where Did He Come FromMature

It's now Monday and people are still laughing at me. "Spotwood!" yelled Craig. And I was trying so hard to avoid him. I thought I could sneak off somewhere at lunch right now but it was too late. "Here are the notes that I borrowed. And do you got the one's from 3rd period too?" I give him a look but he didn't seem to care. I was thinking of just taking my notes and leaving him there but, I couldn't bring myself to.

". . . yea, sure here," I said, trading the notes. "About Friday . . . "

"Save it, that's in the past. But don't worry, I forgive you," he said with a smile on his face. My mind drew a blank.

"You know, you thought I was gay. But it's fine, You made a mistake, everyone does." I couldn't believe what I was hearing. The jock that people warned me about turned out to be exactly as they said. I wanted to slap him and cuss him out. . .

"I think you're the mistake in this equation," Kyle said, covering my eyes. and mouth Where did he come from, and was he listening to what we said?

"Excuse me, who are you?" Craig asked, confused.

"I'm Codey's friend, and you're a stupid son of a bitch that's just using him." He turned to walk away, "Oh, and I'll take that." He grabbed my notes from his hand and dragged me along with him. All Craig could do was just stand there, clueless.

Kyle took me into a corner of the school library.  I struggled to break free from this idiot but it was no use. "Let go of me! Why did you do that, I could have handled it myself." He grinned at me and chuckled.

"Yea, sure you were. He was just using you, how could you not see that. And be quiet, we're in a library so calm down," he argued. I thought about it more and saw that he was right. He finally let go and I sat beside him near a bookshelf. "Why do you let him push you around?" he asked.

"You know, I never really thought about it. I guess it was because somewhere deep down, I still like him." We sat there awkwardly for a long time. Kyle was so bored that he started to fidget. "So . . . Um, my grandparents won the bowling game on Saturday,"I said, trying to make conversation.

"Really, is that the best thing you got for a conversation," Kyle said, snickering.

"Well I don't see you saying anything." Kyle thought for a bit.

"How about, 'what did they say when they got home?' They must have been pissed."

"Nah, they were actually very surprised that I was at a friends house." My grandparents never see me hanging out with friends. Mostly because I don't have any.

"Wow, well, would you like to come over to my place later then? We could play video games or something," suggested Kyle. I looked at him strangely, remembering what happened this weekend. "Hey, I promise I won't do anything," he said, putting his hands up. I thought about it more. Maybe it will be good for me.

"You have a deal," I answered. We made the plans on where and when to meet. I was to meet him in the parking lot thirty minutes after school ended. He said he had some things to talk about with a teacher. I thought it was weird, with him being a player and stuff, but he is probably a really smart kid.

It's after school and we drive over to Kyle's apartment. My grandparents were estatic when they found out I was invited to his place again. We played a bunch of games and talked about many different things. Besides him trying to get me to look at porn, it was nice hanging out with a friend. It felt like I was wanted by someone other than my grandparents. As we continued to hang out like this for weeks, Kyle and I found out quite a bit about each other. We became the best of friends.

The End
