Larissa

Sweat pours down my face as I writhe around trying to break free of the rope that ties my hands.  The lightbulb flickers, almost going out.  I'm scared they'll come back, but I don't know who they are.

The door creaks open to reveal a man standing in the doorframe.  His lips are moving but no words are coming out.  He has a knife in his hand na dis walking closer and closer.  His eyes are burning with hatred as he raises the knife.

I scream.

'Larissa, wake up.'  My eyes open and I see both Ronnie and Fey staring down at me looking v ery concerned.  'Are you OK?'

'Yeah I'm fine.  Just a bad dream that's all.'  I try to smile and laugh it off but it felt too real to be just a dream.  Some of my ancestors had visions but how could what I saw in my dream come true.

I climbed out of bed and pulled on my favourite jumper and a pair of jeans.  Today was going to be a weird day.

I was silent all through breakfast and although the others didn't know me very well they could tell something was wrong.  They kept giving me funny looks but didn't ask me anything.  I had my guard up so the mind readers amoung us couldn't see what I was thinking.

Through assembly aswell I didn't pay attention to what was being said, it was probably deadly dull anyway so I wouldn't be missing much.  We filed out of the hall and I stopped with the rest of our group.

'So what lessons do we have?'

The End
