Ever century, a child is born with powers beyond belief. These powers will be dangerous in the wrong hands, but sadly those hands aren't chosen; only people who are born exactly a century after the original Salome was born, gain her witch powers.
But what happens when a group of kids are born at exactly that time. Then there will be more than one Salome. But where will their journey take them?
In Christian mythology, Salome was the daughter of Herodias and stepdaughter of Herod Antipas, ruler of Galilee in Palestine. Her fame comes from the legend of her causing the execution of John the Baptist. Herodias had hated John the Baptist ever since he condemned her marriage to Herod, so she went to Salome, her daughter, to try to seduce Herod by dancing, thus causing him to offer to give his step-daughter anything she wanted. Herodias had influenced her into asking for the head of John the Baptist on a plate.
Herod had been holding John the Baptist prisoner, but he didn't want to kill him, because he feared to have the well-known prophet killed. However, he did decapitate John the Baptist, though unwillingly, and handed the head on a silver platter to Salome, who then gave the platter to her mother.
Legends also state that Salome was a witch who seduced men, then killed them. Every century after Salome's birth, another Salome is born with her same powers. This is a lesser known legend, but the secret of this legend, is that it was the true one.
