After I pinned him to the ground, the boy started laughing. It swept over me in waves of happiness. I started laughing too.
"You haven't changed one bit Destiny!" The boy said through his laughs.
"Neither have you! You still fight like a girl!" I laughed and got off of him and helped him stand up.
"That's coming from one!" We hugged then I took his hand.
"Come on, I want you to meet someone." I pulled him over to Peder. "Peder, I'd like you to meet my brother, Drake." Drake smiled at Peder.
"Hi. What are you, Destiny's boyfriend?" He winked at Peder. I punched him hard on the arm. "Ow! What?"
"Drake, I need you to promise me something. I'm going to tell you a secret." He turned to me, my face straight.
"What?" He stood straight across from me.
"Do not tell anyone."
"What? I promise I won't tell!"
"Special Promise." I looked him in the eyes. He sighed.
"Alright." He held out his hand and I shook it and we went through a certain order of movements. "Now," Drake said when we'd finished. "What's the secret."
"This is Prince Peder. I helped him run away. Since our village is unknown, I thought he could lay low there." Drake gaped.
"Sika y nok." He whispered.
"I know. His father is trying to marry him off. Arranged wedding. I know the sika y nok but col me nowoo." I saw Peder tilt his head at my words, but I ignored him. "Please?"
"Ok." He sighed, then whistled a tune shrilly. At the sound of the whistle, a stallion stepped out of the trees. He looked just like Moonlight, except the opposite. Black stripe down the nose, black stockings and white everywhere else. Moonlight immediately went forward to nuzzle noses.
"Aw, they remember each other." I smiled at Drake then went over to the stallion. "Hey Blazer."
