He looked at me as though he expected me to shriek "WHAT?!" like the everyday human. But I'm not your everyday human.
"Ok." I looked at him plainly and he looked shocked.
"'Ok.'? This isn't something that happens everyday."
"I know. And you're right, I can help you. But first tell me why you want to run away." I folded my arms across my chest.
"I don't want to get married and my father will make me if I don't leave!" He turned and sat down on his bed and put his head in his hands.
"Good enough for me. The King is letting me off for a month so I get to go home. I'm leaving tomorrow before dawn, you can come." He lifted his head to look at me.
"Doesn't he know where you live?"
"No. I'm not from any of the villages in his kingdom, but I'm still in his kingdom. If you really want to run away, meet me in the stables, Moonlight's stall without your horse. Your dad would suspect me if you took your horse. Don't worry, we can still retrieve him." I turned and walked out the door to pack.
