Redemption garden

“Oh crap!” – Jack immediately shouted when he opened the door, getting out of the old palace.

It was as hot as hell inside and he was damped in sweat, salty and felling a little dizzy. A minute ago that door meant freedom, rest and, at least, peace. Now that all of his hopes were gone he couldn’t do anything else than fighting once more.

He took a long, deep breath and analyzed the field. The door leaded to the back of the palace. It was a large place, surrounded by deep canyons and enoumous dry, dull trees. The grounds were so dry and cracky like it hasn’t seen water in a century.
