Heartbroken was a bit of an exaggeration when it came to describing my mood on that crisp spring afternoon, the last saturday of May.
Though I was imagining physically breaking his.
My boyfriend-of-sorts for the last few months had just informed me of his new girlfriend. And as I was just a girlfriend-of-sorts he wished to cut ties. I can understand why - we were hardly exclusive - I just resented how he'd done it.
I mean, I'm sure he meant for the text to sound sympathetic...
