The pink silk slipped between my hands and fell to the floor. I was so clumsy, but when I was on the stage, I was exactly the opposite. I bent down and picked up the shoe and slipped it on my small foot, over my tights. I wrapped the lace around my ankle and up my leg.
I skittered onto my dance floor, my toes flat on the wood. It hurt, but it was worth it. I began turning and spining. My arms secured in a circle, my fingers bent. My brown hair slapped into my face as I spotted. Pretty soon it was dinner.
Time went by fast when one was having fun.
