Rain, Rain on me

As the day dies with me, a grey soul resides still here.  I decide to watch the rain, and let it flow upon my sorrows. Shall it cleanse and free me? or must I wait once again for thy love? As the child cries for his mother, my grey soul longs for thy comfort and blissful kiss. Only you can make me whole in blue and black skies. Rain flow on me, on me. Clean me from my head to toes. Live and be, all I could not for his love.

As thy love dies, a grey heart still beats here. I decide to watch the rain, and let it mend my heartaches. Shall it purify and release me? or must I wait once again for thy love? As the flower sucks air, my grey soul longs for thy heart and deceitful love. Only you can make me one in plaid and purple skies. Rain grow on me, on me. Clean me from my head to toes. Live and be, all I could not for his love. All I could not for his love that dies in me.
