I am a paladin seeking a god (or goddess) who will not desert me in times of trouble. This includes trading me and a say in my destiny for the protection of the kingdom. I do understand that some sacrifices must be made, but I do not think the sacrosanct relationship between devotee and deity should be one of them. I come fully trained, with rather impressive battle skills, if I do say so myself. My armor is shiny, my horse is well-groomed, and my sword is sharp. All I need is you to give me divine protection and whatever abilities are deemed appropriate. I am creative and heartfelt in my prayers and am willing to enact any ritual - I learn quickly, so minimal instruction is required! I am not, however, willing to serve anyone evil.

I thought it might be fun to see what kind of personal ads or write-ups we could come up with for characters (or authors!). Think along the lines of the blurbs to be written as "profiles" on online dating sites, some of the profiles you see elsewhere and realize are just an advertisement that belongs in the personals column, or anything else you might find in the classifieds in the newspaper. Feel free to write responses to previous entries too. Would a character or author answer one of the posts? How?
