“Come on Amy, let’s just sit down and we can talk okay?” Kelly says.
“What did you just call me?” I ask. Everyone gasps and looks at me in shock.
“Amy... that’s your name” I don’t know if that’s a coincidence, but that’s just scary.
“Where am I? How did I get here? I don’t understand what’s going on” I finally say.
“This is your home, you live here, and I’m your mother”
“What’s.... a mother?” the others gasp again, and Kelly sheds a tear.
“I gave birth to you, I fed you, I looked after you I did everything for you!” she cracks her hand off a windowsill next to her. I step back onto the stairs. Laura gets up, walks over, and slaps Kelly in the face.
“I was a better mother than you ever were to her!” Laura yells. “The only thing you did was give birth to her, I did all the rest. And you wanted to stop with the lying” Kelly looks up at her and says nothing. I’m still confused to what a mother is. But, this woman gave birth to me? Laura cared for me than Kelly did. Well... of what I can remember.
