Wyoming Hinterlands

It’s a whole lot of nothing.

Yet it means everything.

How did it get there?

Just fell from the sky and landed

Perfectly lopsided,

Right in place.

One day humans will take it,

Ruining it’s purity.

Sure it’s ugly, rocks and brown ground.

But cows and animals roam the land

And blue sky above

With 83 degree wind that feels nice

White clouds cover the hot orb

Shadows cast over the hills

Lone houses scattered everywhere

And small rivers along the long road.

Feels like we’re in the middle of nowhere,

Because we are.

And nowhere is better than there.

The End
