Grinning to himself at the easy victory he’d gained, Camden gave a small nod to Daphne. “I’ll meet you here at half past eight.”
She shrugged. “I have no sense of time so I’ll just wait here.”
Bobbing his head once more, Camden gave Daphne an enthusiastic wave before heading off towards his house.
He felt excited for their little dinner-date and though there was still so much more he was yet to learn about Daphne, his mind buzzed with one particular question.
Maybe she has some kind of a strange ability.
That was the only reasonable explanation he could come up with. But deep in his heart, Camden knew there was something very different about Daphne…about what she’d done.
Camden couldn’t shake off the feeling that he was messing around with something supernatural.
