She blinked at him stupidly, not quite understanding as she stared at him dumbfounded for the shortest amount of seconds.
Kai felt like he'd been punched in the gut. What was wrong with him and why was he coming up with such lame replies today? Opening and closing his mouth like a fish as he watched the girl stare at him incredulously, he felt like such an idiot.
I might as well jump off the edge of a mountain right about now.
Shaking his head to himself, he said, "I should probably get going."
Standing up, he started moving down the aisle but then felt a cool hand wrap around his wrist. "You're not going anywhere."
Turning around, he looked down at the girl who was much shorter in comparison with height. She didn't seem to falter as she glared up at him. "I demand to know what you meant about that whole 'being drawn to me' thing."
Kai smirked. "And what will you do if I don't tell you? Light a fire?"
