Every muscle in her body tensed, a new wave of perspiration breaking out on her forehead as Ena's green eyes widened, reflecting the dangerous flames that danced before her. She was in too much of shock to question if what she was seeing was real.
A tear-drop of fire, burning right in front of her as it floated in mid-air, supporting itself. It was a deep blue color at the edges of its shape but an almost beautiful color of red in the core. Burning...in front of her eyes.
At first, a wave of fear washed over her. The thing that had killed her parents was right in front of her as if it were a person and she had no idea what to do. She sat still, hands clenching into fists as she pursed her lips, suppressing the new desire to scream that surged through her.
But curiousity took over as she continued to stare in fascination at the flame. One of her hands shook as she reached out slowly but timidly, towards the flame. Centimeters away, she forced her hand to jerk forward. No second thoughts to intervene.
