Constance knew what had happened. It was the only way to explain why she was now a teacher in an all-girls' finishing academy.
She did have to admit, though, it beat being pregnant.
But, the atmosphere of the campus seemed quite off. Probably because of the fact it was imaginary. Everywhere she looked, faceless students roamed the halls, and eerie as it was, they looked like...
"Why...am I in Krystal's mind?"
"I'm wondering the same thing."
Without looking, Constance furrowed her eyebrows and grumbled, "You're not the company I was hoping for."
"Constance, what are you doing?"
"Well...I," as Constance turned around, she paused, and noticed the person she was talking to was not who it seemed. "E...go?"
"I'm sorry, I could've sworn you were someone I knew."
"We do know each other, moron."
"Ego, is that you?"
"While I don't particularly remember that moniker, I do remember you and how I enjoy picking on you quite a bit."
"Oh yeah...it's you. I do like the cleaned-up look," Constance smiled, praising Ego's clean student uniform and combed hair...which was strangely similar to Roy's now that she noticed. "So, what brings you here?"
"Not sure. Can't remember what I was doing exactly."
"What do you remember?"
"Quite a bit. I remember some odd details about being transferred here due to an odd error. Didn't really expect to see you working here."
Constance tilted her head and replied. "Yeah..I-uh-it's...kind of short notice."
"Well, I'm gonna go find my BFF Krystal. Ciao~"
For a moment, Constance was...altogether horrified from what she just witnessed. She was quite sure she just encountered the Ego she knew...and admittedly had grown to not have murderous tendencies toward...but something wasn't quite right.
Well, neither was herself being a teacher, or anything else for that matter.
"Meh...if there's anything I've learned over the past 20 years, it's not question this stuff."
