Telling it How it is

I knew that Criss would want me to explain things as soon as I could, but I guess I just haven't had the time After we found Ashley by the mouth of a cave she had used her mind to kill the creature. It's all still a mystery in how she managed to do it, but I didn't think it was impossible. Ashley had drawn you us a clearer map of China, where we were supposed to find the lost books. I was hoping for clear directions, but all we got was a pirate map sort if thing. I'll have to admit that it was better than nothing. It gave us an overall view and everything, but now was the time to tell Criss the story of the 4 elements.

Criss? I asked mentally, hoping that he was still in my head, Criss, you still there?

Hm? What yeah. Hey Kacey. I guess i woke him up from a nap or something because his voice sounded all scratchy like it would when you woke up in the morning.

Haha, sorry, I'm ready to tell the story now if you'd like to know, I said.

Umm, Kacey? I don't think right now's a good time for either of us. Tomorrow were going on a journey to find Vlad and you have to find that lost book and it's like.... there was a short moment of silence 6 in the morning. I don't know what you guys have been doing, but I know you need some sleep, okay? You can tell me when you wake up.

BUT... I looked around the campfire, and sure enough, everyone was asleep. I heard Ashley complaining about how the ground was too hard do I guess that explains why her head was on Stanton's chest, Okay. I'll tell you when I wake up. Night.

Night, was the last word I heard from him.

I curled up into a ball like I always did, and I closed my eyes. I didn't know when I fell asleep, but when I did I could feel warmth from the fire radiating from it to me, and the comfort of my brothers and sisters  filled my heart, and that was all I needed to feel safe and more at home.

Just savor the moment and take it one day at a time I thought to myself, and at that moment, I heard a faint chuckle.

The End
