I wasn't quite sure what to say to that.  On the one hand she had done it to save her dad which made her a better person than me.  But on the other...

'I'm not going to judge you.  You did the right thing at the time and I think Pelenor will understand that.  I mean no-one died.'  I smiled.  'Is that why you wanted to leave?'  I sat down on the edge of her bed.

'Yeah.  I just didn't know what to say to her, I'm not sure if she even remembers me.'

'If they don't remember then don't bring it up, that's my motto.'

'OK then, and if she does remember?'  Morgan did look a little scared, which shocked me, she had always seemed to be strong.

'Then explain.  If she doesn't accept your apology then she probably isn't worth speaking to.'  I stood up and headed for the door so I could go back downstairs.

'Thanks Lia.'

'No problems Morgan.'  I shut the door quietly behind me and went back to join Vonnie.
