Pain can change

Julia was sitting on her bed with her knees drawn to her chest with a frown on her face. It was Christmas and her father was most likely out drinking at whatever bar was open. Her father wasn't always like this, but after her mother passed away he changed. Her mother Elena passed away three months ago in a car crash. After that her father just shut down, He go mad for the littlest of things, rarely at home, and sometimes he hit her. Never was it the playful wrestling they used to do. Now it left bruises and scars but the deppest ones were in her heart.
