I live in a old block of flats, its a large building with 5 floors, on each floor there's 5 apartments. I live on 5th floor in the middle apartment. The other four apartments are home to my best and only friends.

At the end of the hall to the left is Clarissa's house. She's my best friend. Well she's my only girl-friend to be honest, and also the one I have the most incommon with, we both like the same style books, and have the same hobbies. We always agree on a side when the boys fight.

Across from her flat is Aaron’s home. He's the eldest of us and also the maturest in a lot of ways, however he's also the bossiest so we tend to fight with him a lot when we're playing games and such, but at the end of the day we all still love him of course.

The 2 flats closest to mine are where Leo and Rine live, Leo's the youngest of us, but acts way older than he is, most would think he's 18 or even 21 if they talked to him on the phone, but in fact he's only 14, the problem is he doesn't show as much emotion as he should he rarely smiles and always the first to shout at us when we act up, Rine's 16 like Aaron, he's a lot like Aaron in maturity and grades, but he's never bossy and a lot kinder to everyone.

We're all pretty normal, at least by our standards, we go to school, hang out in our spare time, have petty fights, and get in trouble with the family from time to time.

It was 7:45am and I was just leaving the house, before I got to the door however I heard my mother from the kitchen.

“ T.K remember to go to the shops on your way home!” she called.

“I will!...forget,” I muttered the last part as I opened the front door and stepped through it.

As I expected Leo was already standing outside, his arms crossed, he was leaning against the wall and glaring in my direction.

“your late.” he said, when he said it I had a strong urge to say it with him, no matter the day or time I get up, I've never beaten Leo at getting out first. Ever. So every morning he says I’m late even if (and this happened) I got out an hour early than usual he would still be there waiting to tell me I was late.

So instead of copying him I did what I always did.

“I know, I know Leo~” I said as I pulled him into a tight hug, one that he tried and failed to avoid.

“let go!” he said, trying to pry me off.

“no way” I cooed, enjoying his cream coloured cheeks, becoming rose red.

“let him go T.K” said a smooth voice said from behind us, I felt ice cold fingers around my waist and I was lifted into to the air.

“Rine let me go.” I said with mock seriousness, trying to sound threatening. I tried not to shiver, Rine's skin always felt like ice, Leo was always cold too but he was wearing a blazer so it wasn't that bad to hug him.

“why should I princess?” Rine said smiling slightly, using his stupid nickname for me, When he was pushed from behind by a small feminine body.

“put her down!” was what Clarissa shouted as she pushed Rine, she was smiling.

“why you little...” Rine grabbed Clarissa in a head lock after me to the ground. She screamed at first but ended up laughing, we all laughed except Leo who just stood at the edge smiling. We where interrupted however by a strong voice.

“get off her!” We looked to the left and saw Aaron standing there his hands on his hips. We all stopped laughing and looked at him.

“why, she started it?” Rine said teasingly, Aaron glared in response.

“get off her!” he shouted. Rine signed but let Clarissa loose, she stood up straight and looked a little pissed as she strode toward Aaron.

“we were playing Aaron.” she said, living the phrase 'if looks could kill'.

“I don't care, he could of hurt you.” he said, equally defensive, both stared at each other, both refusing to give in. I decided to step in before this got ugly. those two argued like an old married couple given the chance.

“we'll be late for school come on guys!” I said running in between them and dragging Rine and Leo with me. Clarissa stopped glaring then smiled and followed me, Aaron grudgingly followed as well.

I skipped down the stairs with the others when something happened. You see I'm not very co-ordinated, I’m a little (lot) clumsy. So that something was me falling down the stairs, I fell forward and almost screamed, except before hitting the ground I was stopped by a rush of cool air.

I opened my eyes to see myself levitating off the ground by a few inches.

“that close. be careful T.K” Clarissa said holding her hands out as if pushing the air towards me.

“sorry, wasn't thinking.” I said as I turned in the air to see them all properly, both Leo and Rine's eyes were glowing, and Leo's second pair of ears were showing, along with Rine's nails elongating, On Aaron's back were a pair of white wings.

“ha! You all panicked” I said smiling. I stepped onto the floor softly as if this was all normal, because to us it was. What else can you expect from an angel, two witches, and two demons, especially teenagers?
