Introduction:

Fumbe Kelso is an ordinary, free African. She hunts for the family and only worries about not being able to know much more than what happens outside of her small village. SHe has heard stories and wants to explore, but she knows that is not what is expected of her, so she stays and follows orders.

One day, the white men come and tear her life to shreds. Everything she knows is thrown in disaray.

Has she got what it takes to get back home? Will she even be able to save herself?

DanniTaylor This is a story I wrote for a history project.

It has been reviewed several times, but that doesn't mean it's perfect. Any critique or help at all would be appreciated.

I'm sorry about the varying lengths of the chapters, there were originally four HUGE chapters, but I thought it would be better to split them up slightly. I've tried to judge it correctly, but again, if any changes need to be made, just comment.

Some of the words are not in English, but most are explained. Here are the ones that aren't:
