The Golden Palace {Part 1}

 “Look! I can see some light!” –Yiuni said while pointing at what it seemed to be the end of the Black Forest.

It was such a big deal for the group since they’ve been for a while now trapped in this forest. Where all trees were huge and black, blocking the sunlight and not letting any light go through.

“Could it really be?” –Kalaila said.

“It needs to be. The end of the Black Forest.” –Ukriki said.

Everyone began running towards the light. As if they were getting closer to that light at the end of the tunnel. Everyone was cheering and yelling with happiness while running and making their way towards the light.

Finally Arith was the first one getting there. He had to cover his eyes because they needed to adjust to this brightness. He finally looked up. Just to see clouds forming a staircase, leading to this golden palace high in the sky.

The others finally got there. “Is that a castle?” –Fifer said breaking the silence.

“Seems like it.” –May-Ling answered.

A piece of paper then fell to the ground. Madame Uni picked it up and said, “We have another note.” Everyone quickly turned their faces to see her. She then cleared her throat and began reading. “Congratulations for making it out the Black Forest! I was expecting at least three of you to be gone by now, but it seems only one of you was crushed. Oh well, there’s still plenty of things ahead of all of you. Let me welcome you to area number two, the Golden Palace. Make your way to there. Good luck, dearies. Try not to die.”

“Are you kidding me? I want to choke whoever is making us go through this right now.” –Cresio said with such anger.

“We all do, but for now, we need to follow his instructions.” –Dalaila said.

“Remember, we’re in this together. We can do this.” –Arith said. “Now, let’s go!”-He said showing such determination.

The group began making their way through those fluffy clouds, leading them to that palace.

“I wonder what’s in store for us this time.” –Saphiro thought to himself. “But whatever it is, I’m sure it isn’t good.”
