“We can either keep sitting here and keep discussing how messed up whoever is doing this to us is or we can keep moving forward and prove we’re capable of getting out of here.” –Dalaila said.
“She’s right. Let’s do this for Benston.” –Lonyer said.
“So are we supposed to continue walking through the Black Forest?” –Wimphia asked.
“I believe so. I think that was what we were supposed to do in the first place but we decided to do a detour and enter the cave.” –Qlamperun said.
“And let us not forget those 9 ft. red gorillas that were about to attack us.” –Riri said.
“Yes, we just need to stay together and keep our eyes wide open.” –Arith said. “Okay, let’s go then.”
The group began walking once again.
“Is it weird if I say the cave at least made me feel a little bit safer than this awful forest?” –Yiuni said to his brother.
“Yeah, because spending time with those creatures was so much fun.” –Youno said.
“No need to be sarcastic. Plus, I meant before we encountered those monsters.” –Yiuni said.
“Yeah, I know what you mean. This place just seems way too open for my liking. I feel like anything can attack us at any moment from any direction.” –Youno said.
“Thank you for pushing my wheelchair once again, darling. I know it’s not an easy thing to do with this rocky ground.” –Parza said to Jaliah
“It’s my pleasure. You just remind me of my grandma back home.” –Jaliah said.
“Why is that, sweetie?”- Parza asked.
“She’s an incredibly strong and nice lady. Just like you.” –Jaliah said.
“That’s nice of you to say. If you don’t mind me saying you also remind of my son. He is already 35 years old. He’s my only son and he always cared about me. Till this day he still does.” –Parza said.
Jaliah could tell Parza was getting emotional.
“Hey hey, I promise you that you will reunite with him when we get out of here.” –Jaliah said.
“I hope so, darling. It just breaks my heart knowing he’s probably out there looking for me like crazy.” –Parza said.
“I know what you mean. I’ve thought about that as well. How worry can my family be. But let me tell you something, let’s be each other’s family here. I’ll be like your son and you’ll be like my grandma.” –Jaliah said.
“I like that idea. Thank you for making me feel better, young boy.” –Parza said to Jaliah.
“I’ve heard you’re the smart one of the three of you.” –Tanfesor said to Dalaila.
“You can say that.” –Dalaila said without looking at him.
“You know, I like smart girls.” –Tanfesor said giving her a wink.
“Is that what you tell every girl you see?” –Dalaila said looking at him this time.
“You can’t resist this sexiness.” –Tanfesor said.
“You’re unbelievable.” –Dalaila said while walking away from him.
“You will fall in love with me one day!” –Tanfesor yelled at her with a smile on his face.
Dalaila just rolled her eyes without looking back at him.
Seconds later the ground began to shake once again.
“Oh no, not again.” –May-Ling said.
“The 9 ft. red gorillas are on their way!” –Hariah yelled.
