I thourght 10 months with hardly much food would make me weaker but I actually seem to have gain weight. My tummy has a lump and I wake up to feel a kicking in my stomach. I sit up and place my hand on my tummy. "No" I whisper.

This can't be true. It can't be possible. Yet it's happened. I'm pregnant and its a monster.

The door creaks open and I watch him walk in. I remove my hands from my belly and glare. Using most of my strength to do it. "Why won't you let me help you?" He whispers sitting on the edge on the bed and letting a hand pass through my hair. He them sees the lump as I flinch. He gasps and looks at my in the eyes angry.

"Your pregnant" he hisses through his teeth. Humans usually celebrate this sort of thing and I think their race does to but his eyes burn with anger.

Anger because I didn't tell him sonner.

"How long?" I don't answer. He looks at my tear stained face and sighs. "You dieing hurts but knowing you putting my own child in danger hurts more" he whispers. He looks at me pain in his eyes.

"It's a monster not a child" I hiss and he flinches.

"It would be born human" he whispers. I'm shocked at that.

"But..."

"My species can't produce predators by children. They are born human" he whispers.

"Then why kill us?" I hiss.

"It's what we do" he says letting his head drop. Then I feel terrible. I feel tears stream down my cheeks and push myself in to his arms and he holds my perfectly.

"Its been 4 months" I choke. He sighs.

"And my offer?" he whispers.

"Three days" I whisper.

"Two and a half" he says sternly.

"Fine" then I fall to sleep.

Cathy scream and my hand goes numb. "Eww" Temo groans. I watch as a small blood covered baby is wrapped in a jumper and handed to the close to dead tierd Cathy. I look at the child its bright blue eyes gazing at me.

"So beautiful" Cathy gasps. Everyone leaves and I'm left with cathy and our new baby.

"It's a girl she says happily"  looking at me. I smile. "What you wanna call her?"

I hesitate "Elliana" I whisper. Cathy smiles and nods. She storkes the babys face and murmurs the name we just gave her. I hold my family close and smile down at the new joy of my life.
