Jane never saw it coming.
But she didn't say anything. Instead, she stood there, frozen, as the front of the truck slammed into Jane's ribs, crushing them sickeningly easily, the bones breaking with a terrible sound.
"Well. That was disappointing. We'll have to work on that." A strange voice commented behind her.
Kia spun around, eyes wide and breathing erratic. She stumbled when faced with a skeleton in a suit, top hat perched casually on his bald head and the top of a cane held loosely in his boney hands.
"Who, who- what?" She was close to hyperventilating, and the skeleton eyed her carefully with empty sockets.
