My Psychosis Friend

The Doctor’s say he became my psychosis
One dark and desperate day
Unpacked his luggage in my brain
Where he resides to this day.
And of all the medications
Running through my blood stream
He says he prefers the effects
From a healthy doze of thorozine.
He loves telling me of his visions
In a very excitable voice
But he says I’m not crazy
Because I let him in by choice
I know the Doctors want to believe me
But they have no visions in their heads
Truth is they can’t afford to
Because there aren’t any more beds~!
