Dear Diary,

Its my birthday tommorow. I can't wait. I'll finally be 14.

I mean all my best friend Cathy is already 14. We're going to the club midnight for my birthday. A few friends and some boys are coming as well I can't wait.

Oh yeah. I dumped Samuel yesterday. Everyone was shocked. I know he's captain of the football team but he's such an idiot.

Going on and on about his future, his dreams. Never once asking me what I want or what I wish to do when I'm older.

Ha, captain of the football team or not I'm not dating him just for attention. I get too much of that anyway.

I think I'm getting a phone from my dad and maybe a laptop from mum. They don't live together anymore.

It wasn't Dad that went off with his secretery but Mum. A guy called Derek. Whose actually quite nice. If only it wasn't the fact Mum and Dad were married at the time that Mum left Dad for him.

He's not just a secretery though. Well he was at the time. Now he's started his own franchise with Mum. Its going real well they work in over three countrys.

Dad's working the towns newpaper. Well that and owning a few buisnesses in town.

Oh, shoot. I have to go. I really hope that tonight will go well.
