Chapter 4

*~*Aiden's P.O.V.*~*

Leo and I were sitting in a small coffee shop, not quite in the back, but not up front. "God, what is taking so long?" I asked getting dad said she would be playing at 7, it's 7:40 now.

"Dude, calm down, I think she's here now," said Leo pointing to the front door opening, and a girl with long brown hair came running through the crowd with a guitar strapped to her back. When I saw her,I couldn't take my eyes off of here.

My gaze followed her, to where she was standing by the side of the stage apologizing in quick short breaths. "I know I'm late, I know I'm late, I know I'm late, I'm sososososososososo sorry!! But I'm hear now."

Some lady in a black shirt, who looked around thirty, and probably worked here, said, "It's fine, but hurry up and get up there, people are getting restless."

"Aiden," said Leo, who was sitting next to me, playing with his fork. "You're going to marry her? She's hot!!"

I looked at him and gave him a smirk. "I know, otherwise I would never agree to this."

"Still, I can't believe that your dad is making you do this."

"Well, at least I saw her before hand. She has no idea what I look like."

"Wait, is that why we can't talk to her?" asked Leo with a confused look on his face.

"Yeah, my dad wants to surprise her tomorrow."

She was setting up on stage, and Leo and I watched her intently. She moved so gracefully. She looked like a dancer. I still can't help but wonder why she would turn down Juliard?

"Hmm," said Leo tilting his head to the side. "I wonder what she's like in bed?"

I smirked again, and looked at Leo, "Well, I'm gonna find out, she's moving in with us on Friday."

Leo finally tore his gaze away from Adelaide and looked at me and said bluntly,"She's a virgin."

I just looked at him shocked. "How the hell do you know. You just saw her?"

Shrugging his shoulders, he just said, "I don't know, she just looks like one."

Shoving his arm, I just said, "Whatever dude. Like I said, I'll find out soon enough."

Someone cleared their throat, and it was heard throughout the whole coffee shop. Adelaide was sitting on a stool up on the stage. The way the light hit her, she looked beautiful. I finally took in what she was wearing. She was wearing a purple shirt with a peace sign on it, black ripped skinny jeans, and some worn out converse. She had a beanie on her head, with a bow on it.

She started talking, and the whole crowd was silenced. Her voice was musical, even though she wasn't singing. "Hey everyone, sorry for the delay. You could blame the group of four people back there," she said, outstretching her arm, and pointing to a two girls, and two guys sitting in the back goofing off. Adelaide chuckled, and when the spotlight hit them she said, "Wave guys."

They all stopped what they were doing abruptly, and waved like goofballs. Everyone started cracking up. "I love you guys, and this first song is for all of you. Because you were always there for me, especially now. And I want you to know that I'm here for you as well, always."

And with that she started playing. I recogized it from the first cord. It was one of my favorite songs. Your Guardian Angel by the Red Jumpsuit Apparatus. (AN:I do not own this video, this is just kinda how I imagined her voice But she is playing the guitar in the story. And try to ignore the people talking in the background.)

When I see your smile
Tears roll down my face I can't replace
And now that I'm strong I have figured out
How this world turns cold and it breaks through my soul
And I know I'll find deep inside me I can be the one
I will never let you fall (let you fall)
I'll stand up with you forever
I'll be there for you through it all (through it all)
Even if saving you sends me to heaven
It's okay. It's okay. It's okay.
Seasons are changing
And waves are crashing
And stars are falling all for us
Days grow longer and nights grow shorter

Adelaide looked into the crowd, and our eyes met. She looked at me, and I looked at her. Every word she sang was sinking into me. I was mesmerized. Her body, her voice, her beauty, she was perfect.

I can show you I'll be the one
I will never let you fall (let you fall)
I'll stand up with you forever
I'll be there for you through it all (through it all)
Even if saving you sends me to heaven
Cuz you're my, you're my, my, my true love, my whole heart
Please don't throw that away
Cuz I'm here for you
Please don't walk away and
Please tell me you'll stay woah, stay woah
Use me as you will
Pull my strings just for a thrill
And I know I'll be okay
Though my skies are turning gray
I will never let you fall
I'll stand up with you forever
I'll be there for you through it all
Even if saving you sends me to heaven

When she finished, we still were looking into each others eyes. I had to admit, she had mad skills, her voice was beautiful.I heard loud cheers and screams from the back. "Whoooo! Way to go Addy!!!!"
And, "We love you Addy!!!"
Along with them, the whole audience erupted in applause.

Adelaide finally broke from our gaze, hercheeks flushed a light pink, and she looked over to what I assume was her friends, and said "Thanks you guys, I love you all."
Shifting her gaze to the audience, she began toaddress them. "Before I go on a quick break, and continue my next song, I just want to let you all know. I know that I've been performing here for years, but today is my last day. Sadly I'm moving. But I'm gonna miss you guys, and I promise, the next time I'min town, I will makesure to schedule a performance. Thanks so much, andI'll be back in 15."

She got up, and put her guitar to the side of thesmall stage. I watched her theentire time, and she was walking over to my dad. What thehell!!! She waswalking over to my dad?! So, he can talk to her, but I can't? Leo broke me out of my thoughts. "Dude, that was awesome!!And she couldn't take hereeyes offof you!"

I chuckled and said, "Yeah, this is going to be easier than I thought."

Clapping my hands slowly and loudly, I said, "Well done Adelaide, well done." I truly was impressed. Not so much by the attire that she decided to wear, but her voice was beautiful.

But she has got to stop dressing like that. Thank god, Nicole, and Sasha went and bought her a whole new wardrobe.

"Thank you Mr. Norrington," responded sheepishly.

"That truly was a very well done performance Adelaide," stated Charles who was seated next to me.

"Well, cutting to the chase, I hope you are ready for tomorrow. I did hear that you quit your job. That's very good," I stated.

"Yeah, I guess," she said looking at the ground.

"Is there something on your mind?" I asked, knowing full well that she wanted to say something.

"Ummm, I was just wondering," she hesitated. She looked nervous. Just spit it out already, your acting just like Charles. "Well, I was just wondering, why my student loan didn't go through completley. I was approved, and when the money was supposed to be placed in my account, the bank said it was cancelled." She paused again, and I sat back in my chair, realizing where this was going.

"Well, I went today again to clear things up, and theres like, 25,000 dollars in my account. I just had a feeling that you knew why. I just want to know, why?"

I chuckled, "Adelaide, how many times do I have to tell you, our going to be a Norrington. You don't ever need to worry about money ever again. I also wanted to let you know. Don't worry about bringing your Toyota. We already took care of your car."

She just stood there, jaw dropped, staring at me. Then she started shaking her head, "Mr. Norrington, I can't. I'm sorry it's just too much. I'm not worth that much." She looked down again, a sad expression painted on her face.

"Adelaide, you are aware that the bank that you got your loan through, is one of the many banks that I own. I decided that you didn't need to be indebted to anyone. So I decided that I'd add an extra 15,000, and make that an early wedding present."

"Mr. Norrington, I still can't. That's too much money. Any money in my bank account, should be the money that I make. Not money that should be given to me. I don't learn anything that way. I can't always depend on you for money."

"Your not always going to depend on me for money, you'll have Aiden,"I said matter of factly.

"Ok, I see I'm not going to win. But don't expect me to ever use that money. And have a nice evening, it was nice seeing you again."

"Yes it was, we'll see you tomorrow then. Don't forget to bring your stuff. Good night."
And with that she stalked off to the stage to begin performing again.

*~*Adelaide's P.O.V*~*

"Alright! Time to celebrate!!!" screamed Seth. Seth was my best buddy. Actually, everyone around me right now was my best buddy. Seth, Jeff, Hayley, Zoey and I were squished into my car. I was finally done performing, and we were going to celebrate, as Mason said.

"Yeah! Theres this new club down the street, let's go there!" chimed in Jeff.

Seth and Jeff are my best guy friends ever! They're like my older brothers, but nicer, and funnier. I love them.

And then there's Hayley, and Zoey. They're the only two people on earth that I can trust with anything, and everything. They've been my best buddies since I was 14, and those horrible series of events took place, they were there for me.
"Alright, let's go! This is my last night with you guys, I want to make it memorable," I said.

Hayley and Jeff were slapping each others hands while I interrupted them. "Hey, guys cut it out!"

They stopped, but then pointed at each other, and screamed in unison, "He/She Started it!"

We all burst out laughing. Everyone knew that Jeff and Hayley were meant to be together. They just didn't see it yet.

Hayley glared at us, but then her face softened when she realized that we were going clubbing. "Let's party biitches!!" she yelled.

"Wait, wait, wait!" screamed Seth, causing everyone to look at him, even me, who was driving. His eyes bulged out when he saw me, and stuck his arm out to the steering wheel, and scream, "Keep your eyes on the road!" I had't even noticed that the car had started to veer off to the left. We got honked at numerous times, before Seth started again.

"So, as you were saying Seth?" I asked, trying to get back on track.

"Does everyone have their fake ID's I got you guys?" Typical Seth, always trying to make surewe got our way with the law. We all held it up for him to see.

"Well then, let's go," he said with a smirk on his face
