Recommend

Julia peered through the blinds of a window in the living room. "What are we going to do? Where are we going to go?"

Tien was standing beside Julia. "I thought we could make our way to the hospital."

Veronica shook her head. "That's too far. We would probably run into a lot of people between here and there."

"Well," Tien replied, "I don't think that Gwen will get better without further treatment."

"She seems all right," Julia commented.

"Yeah," Tien replied. "For now. She is on meds now. Soon the discomfort of surgery will come back to her, and there's only so much that Tylenol can do. We either need stronger meds or ... "

Gwen was resting on the sofa in the next room. "You know, guys, I can hear you just fine." After the other three appolgized, Gwen continued, "There's a clinic just a few blocks from here. Maybe there will be some meds there."

Just as she finished speaking, she yelled out in pain.

"Maybe the clinic isn't such a bad idea," Tien said.
