Mourning Without You
fluttering eyes recognize this room
search around for your face
arm reaches over but finds only wall
mourning the morning is common now
no one there to share it
empty space my bed a stark reminder
lost forever is my love
arms hugging push the cold away
shiver no more the sun is shining
dressing from the dresser drawer
eating breakfast alone
