Sophia was about to break off some branches from a nearby tree, when Jiffy stopped her. He explained that his house had to be made from oak, which was only found on the other side of the forest. She was as frightened as she was excited. They walked through the forest. Sophia looked at everything around her in wonder and amazement. She saw flowers that could dance and pine cones that could sing. She was quite convinced that she was dreaming. A warm golden fairy, named, sat on Sophia's shoulder for nearly an hour.
FIRST PERSON STARTS HERE!!
We'd been walking for a while, when the shadow of what looked like a huge fairy passed over us. "Get down!" Jiffy cried. We frenzied behind a bush. The creature swooped down and landed just next to the bush.
"Jiffy, is that you?" she called.
Jiffy crept out from behind. "Elise!" he said.
"It's so good to see you again. Who's that with you?" the creature asked.
I stood up reluctantly.
"This is Sophia. She just appeared in my house this morning," Jiffy said.
I just stared at the creature. Her skin was pale white and her hair was shimmery fawn. She wore a pure white gown that seemed silken. She had bird wings, and a horn in the centre of her forehead.
Elise seemed to be studying me just as closely. She walked up to me and stared at me. She ran a hand through my blonde hair, and felt my cotton clothes. She poked my cheek and laughed. "What are you?" she asked.
"I'm human," I replied. "What are you?"
"I'm a Laumina," Elise said.
