Alex's POV

I dreamed about her all night and most of the next day.

We slept most of the way home.

Everyone was excited about being home but no one was excited enough to stay up all the way home.

I felt someone shake me "Alex get up"

I moved some.

"Alex" the voice said again.

I opened one eye slowly to see Jack standing next to my bunk.

"hmm?" I asked.

Right then he said the words that I wanted to hear.

"We are home"

I sat straight up bumping my head on the ceiling.

"Alex are you okay?" Jack asked

"fine" I said as I crawled down and ran to the bathroom.

I got ready within a matter of minutes making sure that I smelled good.

After we all gathered our luggage and everything we needed from the bus we headed our different directions to our homes.

I knocked on my door, waiting for mom to open the door.

"ALEX!" she said embracing me in a hug.

"mom" I said.

"Oh how I have missed you"

"I missed you too" but I missed her more.

There was so many questions that I wanted to ask about Kristen.

When my mother looked up at me I noticed that something clicked in her mind.

She headed straight for the phone and dialed a number.

I was confused.

She never said anything so I assumed no answer.

Kristen's POV

We were heading over to Alex's moms house for an early christmas with Alex's side of the family.

They invited me and Em with open arms once they found out.

They of course agreed not to tell Alex.

As soon as I got Em ready and I was locking the door the phone rang.

I didn't bother to go back in and answer it.

We got into our car and headed over to Alex's moms house.

I pulled up and got out along with Em.

She was wearing an adorable red dress with black shoes and I had her hair pulled half way up.

Someone came outside as I was getting Em out.

I thought it was Alex's mom.

"hey" I said as I got Em out.

I look up and it wasn't Em's grandma it was her father.
