Melody just stood stunned as she watched the blast hit her. She felt absolutely nothing until she was flung back by the doctor into the TARDIS. "How dare you? A little child?" he raged before turning and stepping into the TARDIS. He closed the door and stepped over Melodys limp body. Melody felt a wave of blackness wash over her as she tried to stand up to get to the doctor. "Stay where you are." he told her concern filling his face as he stepped away from the large central Collum and went over to Melody. He tenderly picked her up and sat her down on the coushioned seat. "I'm going to die aren't I?" Melody asked him, allowing a tear to fall down her cheek. "No you are not. You are going to grow up to be a splendid young woman." he told her firmly. Melody gasped as the pain from the shot suddenly hit her with a vengeance. She stared in wonder and shock as her body began to glow with an eerily yellow light. She looked up, stunned, at the Doctor who was staring at her with an opened eyed wonder.
