Matching Livesmature
"And don't forget to eat your veggies!" Mom called after me as I pulled out of the driveway. I waved at her and spend up, excited to start my own life away from home. I went through the channels on the radio looking for something that matched my mood but today all the stations seemed only to play sad song. I switched off the radio and begins humming to myself. The landscape passed by quickly and by night I could already see some signs for bars in the distance. I slowed down as I drove closer, still not confident about driving in a town that had more then a few hundred people. The buildings seems to leer down at me and also tilt as if they were going to reach down and grab me. I found the hotel I had booked earlier and as the clerk looked down at me information I heard something move behind me. I turned around expecting to see someone but nothing. The clerk cleared her throat causing me to jump. Grinning sheepishly I quickly grabbed the key and headed to my room.
