To the East was the great and untamable sea, the wide expanse in which the Dragons of Old bid farewell to their Elven friends and left for lands unknown. Many songs and poetry was spun of this mythical place, cast with an air of magic, as the Elves and their newfounded power placed a spell so strong upon it so that for all eternity it would be blessed. Each year until the hatch of the new Wyrms and the birth of man all Elves descended from their sacred wood in the North and repeat the spell, strengthing it with every passing year. After the birth of man and the new dragons, the Elvish Queen would journey to the beach each century and conduct a ritual, secret to other races, still continued to this day.
