Once they were inside the terminal again, Manfred heard his phone go off inside his pocket.

"We'll leave in a sec." he said to Jane as he flipped open his phone. "MacCell."

"This better be important." was her input.

"What? How did that happen?" Manfred exclaimed. "Okay. . . .Alright! We'll meet you there. Not even a week, and now- excuse me?"

"What is is, MacCell?"

"Tell me about it when you get there!" Manfred snapped his phone shut in frustration. "There's been an incident at Jerry Croft's place. The case isn't over after all."

"I told that idiot Tom that it wasn't over." Jane muttered darkly. "Does he know yet?"

"He's going to get their statements himself." Manfred replied. "Let's go. We're meeting Derek at the hospital."

"So he went to Jerry's place after all." Jane remarked. "Well, at least it's not boring in Metro, as Elle would say. She still hates the idea of finishing school."

"Then again, she doesn't have a choice. Let's go, now."

"Going."

"What on earth kept you from boarding for almost ten minutes ?" Marie demanded of her niece once they had landed. "That policeman and his friend were of no consequence."

"Sorry for falling asleep." Elle replied. "Jane and Mr. M were vicitms, too. They just came to say goodbye. What's wrong with that? I think it's a sign of human decency."

"I understand saying goodbye, but the way you said goodbye to that man was very indecent. You are a lady, Kyleigh. You must act like one." Marie chided her.

"I knew him prior to the case, anyway, Aunt Marie, and I've told you before that I prefer to be called Elle. I don't think that Kyleigh suits me very well."

"I understand, but it is the name you were given.

"Whatever. Can we go? I'm really tired."

"Follow me, we will leave right now. You have missed your nephews, I suppose?"

Elle nodded and, smiling softly, followed her aunt. "Very much."

The Document, continuation; late July, 2009.

Not all is resolved, or settled, but things are seeming to go back to a more normal pace. The young heiress has gone to Fallenshire with her aunt, and the Sabres have already caused the Wreckers to break contract. The Extras are doing their best to break sterotypes, collecting all manner of tools (useful or otherwise) to defend their now honorable comrade, who made it in and out of a Sabre house alive.

Now that Matthieu L., twin to the late Sabre leader, had been sentanced (his conmrades were found dead just before the trial), I am unsure of how to continue myself. It is hard to write this as a member instead of a father. I wish my son had been on the right side of the argument before acting.

But, since the St. James case is officially closed, I am able to go back to my only passion. Hopefully the next time I feel that it is relevant to open this book, I will have better tidings. That, or Agent Hoglund will have discovered what I really am.

May God grant us free in the end,

John LaMensan, head of the Wreckers and one of the last known remaining Well-wishers.

xKatanaXIV The world of gangs, clubs, societies, cults, etc.
A very insecure culture, with very secure people.

In Metropolia, there are well-known gangs, there are pointless gangs, high-strung societies, freak cults, normal clubs, normal jobs, less-then-normal lives. It is the job of the Metropolian Tri-state protection Association to make this world work.

Manfred MacCell, Elle St.James, Derek Portman, and Jerry Croft all have this in common: they're not part of, or get rid of all ties.to, any gang, club or society.

2009, their world, their time:
A gang war is brewing between the Sabres, the Wreckers and the Extras. Four unlikely comrades (as mentioned above) will find themselves thrust into situations by their comrades, friends, families and bosses starting with what will come to be known as the St. James case:

Elle St. James, a seventeen year old misifit of this world, has her life thrown in turmoil when an Extra shows up one day, chased by a group of Wreckers who are out to get him. Later on, when the same gang kills her brother and sister-in-law in a fire which destroys her home, she is kept safe as a witness.

Jerry Croft, an Extra even among his own people, is the poor victim of the Wrecker's rage, as his gang's retaliation in a small fight set them off. When he is picked as their target of revenge, he flees to the diner where Elle works and lives, begging Manfred's protection from them, and the Wreckers decide to do what they do best later on after the agent sends them to the police station.

Special Agent Manfred MacCell, Infuence and Undercover department, takes the case head-on, oblivious that he himself is a target in this war, after a frantic call from the young waitress named Elle sends him to the sight of a crime of arson, which launches the case.

Derek Portman is a Sabre to his core. In his sixth year of training he is a favourite of the gang's leader, the sadistic Zeke. When he is arrested for an attempted kidnapping (although he is onlarged with B&E), the agent put in charge of him is none other then Agent MacCell. He does, however, keep popping by order of his leader, who is for some reason out to get the aforementioned people.

These four are somehow thrust together in a turmoil set long ago by others.
