Guardian Angels ...
see the angels
guarding the broken heart
watching the pain
as she treads wearily
along the wind-swept road
the tears stinging
eyes red with waiting
shuffling silently
the life wrung out
see the angels
with wings surrounding
in luminescent light
whispering messages
of shimmering hope
showing the way to other roads
to the heart of hope
