Lost Again... Chapter 1Mature

Lost Again is a story about a wonderful girl with great talents and an amazing story behind what she has "become." This story is about life and her journey through it. Although plenty of unimaginably wonderful things can happen despite all of the awful drops life has Audrina slowly and painfully learns the limits of life and forces herself into believing the unbelieveable to keep life bareable.

This is my first story. My goal with this story is to make it feel as if you the reader are going through life and growing with the main characters. I came up with this title as a reference to the lesson in the story. Lost Again is refering to how you lose yourself in life. The lessons I will be writing of that the main characters will be going through is mostly from personal experince. Although, I am afraid, I myself am fairly young. There for I can not share all of life's amazing and tragic lessons. For I myself have yet to learn...

Chapter One

In The Begining...

I woke up to that dry, weird taste you get in your mouth when you have been sleeping to long. I yawned and rolled over to look at the time. It was 10:30 in the morning! I hadn't slept that late ( or that good ) in years! for as long as I can remeber I had woken up at strictly 6:00 in the morning everyday. Even when I was much younger. I was 16 now, going on 17. I had just gotten my drivers permit a week ago and have been driving myself everywhere since. I can imagine my mom was excited as well. You see I have been taking care of my mom and I ever since the day her and my dad started fighting....

How could you do that! was the first thing I heard from my mom before running and hiding behind the stairwell to evesdrop on the fight my parents were having. Things aren't the way they used to be! said my dad. Later on is when I realized just how true that was. What do you mean? questioned my mom. I mean remeber the way we used to act around each other?...Like when we were teenagers?...My parents had meet when they were 19. They married at the age of 20. My dad was a the definition of the word nerd. Although he was funny. I would give him that. He was also a very charming man to most. After discovering some of my parents past I realized that was all fake. An act he had put on for people. My mom stood still for a minute. looking kind of blank as if she were looking past him. Like something of absolute more importance was standing right behind him. She was remebering. Having a flash back of some sort.

They were sitting under a tree in the park watching the fireworks the park does every year on the 4th of July. Diana, I love you. My dad had told my mom for the first time. she simply smiled at him and said I love you too jeffery in response Then looked back up at the fireworks. He had stared at her for another minute before looking back up. He was wondering how she could do that. Take such a heart felt moment like that and act like it was nothing. In a way, he wished he could be more like that. Without a care...without a care...He repeated in his head the rest of the night.

Yes...yes I do remeber. My mom had plainly said once her flash back was over. Well things aren't like that anymore. My dad said. He was right. They didn't treat each other the same anymore. Not that I would know the difference though. My parents had always acted the same since I could remeber, but the truth is things really were once very different. I suppose not then. My mom simply said. Then walked up to their bedroom and never came back out for the rest of the night. At the time I had no idea what that one fight would lead to...

The End
